FIELD: rocket engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed mixing head of liquid propellant rocket engine contains housing and injector face with injectors arranged on face over concentric circles and forming core of head and peripheral row. Deflector installed between injector face and housing of chamber head, forms, together with head housing, oxidizer supply manifold and injector face cooling duct. Each injector is essentially bushing with channels of oxidizer and fuel terminating in cylindrical nozzles and arranged eccentrically relative to axis of injector. Axes of cylindrical nozzles intersect after end face of injector. Axes of nozzles and fuel channels of head core injectors coincide with each other, being parallel to head axis. Axes of all nozzles and oxidizer channels and axes of nozzles and fuel channels of injectors of peripheral row are arranged at angle relative to each other. Oxidizer channels are furnished with radial supply duct of oxidizer and are plugged from side opposite to nozzle. Injectors are arranged on injector face so that in each row of head core injectors, nozzles of oxidizer and fuel channels alternate over circumference, with sequence of alternation of nozzles of oxidizer and fuel channels of injectors of adjacent row is changed to opposite one. Nozzles of fuel channels in injectors of peripheral row are arranged nearer to chamber fire wall. Invention provides maximum possible combustion completeness for various fuels. It allows forming near-wall layer of combustion products protecting fire wall, and ensuring stable burning in a wide range of engine operating conditions owing to different intensity of mixing in separate concentric rows of injectors.
