The invention is intended for using in the sealing assemblies of the rotors and clamps of the impellers in the pumps, compressors and turbo-units. In the sealing unit, the cup is mounted cup in the casing so as the leg of the cup is directed to the side of low-pressure cavity relative to the flange side. At appearance of pressure drop on the sealing, the leg of the cup deforms to the side of increasing its diameter, the ring slot occurs between jaw of the cup and the surface of the rotor. Cup sealing transforms into the slot one.
Using wear-resistant polymeric materials for the cup in such sealing allows one to get substantially lesser working sizes of the sealing slots and in addition to it such construction can be applied also for replacement of expensive stand end seals.
