The invention refers to the plasma engineering, more particularly, to the plasma accelerators with closed electron drift an can be used at development of electric propulsion as well as technological accelerators used in the processes of vacuum-plasma technology. The external and internal walls of plasma accelerator are made from a current-conducting material. They are insulated from the other elements of the construction. Magnetic system of the accelerator contains at least one source of magnetomotive force and magnetic core. The external and internal magnetic poles of magnetic core form inter-pole gap where output sections of the chamber walls are located. They are made from a dielectric material. The width of ring-shaped channel in dielectric inserts of chamber walls is no more than 0.8 of channel width in the area of placing the current-conducting walls. The dielectric insert ended surfaces facing to anode-gas distributor are located in the zone of active growth of radial magnetic field in the channel cavity. The invention allows one to substantially increase the lifetime and thrust efficiency of plasma accelerators of УЗДЭ-type, to reduce the divergence of jet running out from it.
