The program is intended for numerical simulation of erosion-resistant materials operation on exposure to high-temperature oxidizing flows.
The program enables determination of unidimensional flow parameters along the channel (Mach numbers); parameters of heat and dynamic boundary layers; nonstationary heat state of a multilayer body; surface ablation of a carbonateous composite material in its chemical interaction with active components of the gas flow; thermal destruction of the binder on heating the composite material; sublimation destruction of the material in the external layer on exposure to heat fluxes of different nature; supplement of the data base with deficient thermo-physical characteristics of materials or thermodynamic parameters of combustion products. The program allows one to take into account the instantaneous internal heat release in some layers of materials under external exposure, also heat rejection by radiation from the external and internal surfaces.
