The facility for plasma injection into ionosphere

Field of application: rocket-space engineering, installation for space experiments. The main point of the invention: plasma butt accelerator incorporated in the facility for plasma injection into ionosphere contains the anode, the hollow cathode, exothermic start heater in a hermetically sealed case, installed right up to the hollow cathode outer surface. At least one decomposable plug with a failure temperature 300 to 400^oC is mounted in a hermetically sealed case. The fluid space of the expulsion system for propellant supply and storage is filled with alkali-metal alloy with a melting point lower than -20^oC and joined to the hollow cathode through the trottle pipe. A separation member of the expulsion system is made of elastic material for which purpose fluorine-containing rubber can be used. The control unit is connected to the power processing unit through a relief relay adjusted for the value of atmospheric pressure that corresponds to a 100 km altitude under sea-level.
