VIBRATION DAMPERS MADE FROM "METALLIC RUBBER"
"Metallic rubber" is an all-metal viscoelastic material

The "metallic rubber" fabricated by the unique method developed at Keldysh Research Center will help you to cope with vibrations
on your technical facilities and provide reliability of their operation.

Vibration dampers made from our all-metal highly-effective viscoelastic material "metallic rubber" are successfully used in branches of the Russian fuel-power complex including gas industry, on nuclear power stations and electric power plants.

Features of our vibration dampers:

- Economical: introduction of vibration dampers in the facility without capital expenditures. Practically, no operating expenses will be needed.
- Shape and dimensions: optional.
- Efficient: their damping coefficient is of 0.3 to 0.4. They reduce the level of vibration by a factor of 6-10 in the frequency band of 1 to 7000 Hz.
- Long-lasting: they are nonsusceptible to ageing, do not change their stiffness, rigidity and dissipation characteristics. Their service life is practically unlimited.

Depending on the metal used:

- their operating temperature ranges from -80 to +400 °C
- they are corrosion-resistant in corrosive media (oils, chlorides, acids, etc.), nonsusceptible to exposure to atmosphere, water, dust, etc.

For your technical facilities Keldysh Research Center

- will perform a vibroacoustical analysis;
- will detect the source of disturbances;
- will choose, manufacture and install on your facility vibration dampers made from "metallic rubber" with optimum damping characteristics, proven on the shaker table.
